Towards the end of 2005 Jasmine's neck kept getting wet so the vet examined her for tooth and gum problems.
Her teeth appeared to be fine but there was necrotic (dead) tissue on the gum near one of her back molars. That was removed
and the result was an exposed molar root. She was given antibiotics and rechecked and so far is fine. Also, she has had her
neck shaved a couple of times. Her water bottle is hard for her to use and she ends up soaking wet. She now has a new water-bottle
setup that seems to keep her dry. [The vet did not recognize her with the long hair; she had not seen her since it had grown
back.]
