We are home and I know why I was having a heck of a time getting the syringe in her mouth: her teeth. One tooth was so long that it was nearing her throat. The vet went to cut it and, as he was cutting it, it fell out. I have the tooth.

The vet knows all about the pet store. The store has two lawsuits against them. I will be reporting them.
