lily grace's pigs popcorning

Popcorn Pig

Popcorn pig, popcorn pig
Jumping so high in the sky
Little pig's feet leave the ground
Springing up so high

Piggies dancing round and around
Fluffy piggies fly
See their bodies twist and turn
Little Piggies, My oh my!

Running in the summer sun
Skipping in the hay
Lying in the soft warm grass
Piggies out at play

Eating, licking pooping, peeing
Sniffing sniffing round
Hear those piggies' little voices
Making happy wheeking sounds

Popcorn pig, popcorn pig
You are a happy chap
All in the day of a little pig
And that my friends, is that!

I Want More!

"I want more food!", the little pig cries.

Bang! Goes the fridge door
"This is my food coming!"

An excited piggy runs around....

Chop, chop, chop goes the vegetable knife
Guinea pigs wheek,  "Please hurry with my food!"

The rustle of paper, plastic bags.
"My little tummy's empty, mummy!"

The little piggy presses his nose to the cage
Sniffs the air with anticipation....

The sound of footsteps coming closer.
"Wheek, wheek", goes the piggy. "Hurry, hurry!"

Finally the food is served
and a once desperate guinea pig is quiet.
He munches on a sweet, crisp carrot
and smiles. "
I got my way again.
My little slave is well trained
."

Fun-loving creatures

longhair, short hair
piggies are cute
their little padded feet
and gentle, curious noses

piggy teeth and piggy feet
piggy lips and piggy hips
fat piggy bellies
all soft, warm and fury

fun-loving creatures
with bright little eyes
ears twitching; listening
alert and happy

friendly little characters
with hearts of warmth
chattering away to themselves
or whoever will listen.
